PPS 271- Schools and Social Policy

This listing contains two papers I wrote for Schools and Social Policy, a master's level public policy course with Professor Helen (Sunny) Ladd.

Equity and Adequacy in Alabama's Education Finances is a two-part response to the case "Battling for Equity and Efficiency in Alabama's Schools", first evaluating whether Alabama's education finance system is inequitable based on the standard criteria used in other school finance cases and whether the state has the responsibility and/or capacity to rectify any inequities or inadequacies in the current system; second, arguing that money does matter for education and analyzing potential uses for additional funding.

School Health Clinics is an analysis of the impact of school health clinics in Durham County Public Schools, written with Jessica Anderson and Megan Clair.
